Maggie Stillwell is an artist as well as an equestrian and a traveler. "Whether exploring  horseback or on foot my paintings reflect adventure. I use a variety of materials, primarily oil and mixed media in an abstract realism style.I have studied at the Milian Art Institution Arizona and participated in art shows.” Maggie has paintings on display at the East Fork Gallery in Gardnerville, Nevada.

Clif Lynch Saddleworks . Clif and Virgie Lynch have been long time friends. Clif has made custom saddles that fit your horse and you perfectly for over 65 years. For those that know me, I have ridden in the saddles Clif built for me for about 40 years and still ride in them every day. He is an extreme artist with leather stamping and makes most of his own tools. Clif will be at the rendezvous demonstrating leather stamping tools and will have his tack shop trailer with many beautiful things for you to shop for. And you can make custom orders. Clif is also a master silversmith engraving jewelry, buckles and saddle ornaments. You won’t want to miss seeing him here.

Ranch Roping in the Vaquero Style:

Coleman Kassik and Shane Lucore are two young cowboys who makeup a great Ranch Roping team at calf brandin’ time. Coleman’s family has ranched here in Calaveras County for generations. He has spent time in the summers on prominent ranches in  northern Nevada working cattle on the range and starting several colts. We are proud to have our neighbor,  Coleman share his skills in the Vaquero style of roping. Shane is a well known horseman in our area starting colts with consideration for the horse and spends his time horseback working cattle.

Tack Swap Shop: Bring your high quality tack to trade with others who bring theirs. Or you can put a price on it if someone wants it. Saddles, tack, bosals and hackamores, rawhide reins, your favorite boots that don’t fit anymore? Don’t forget, the spade bits and rawhide reatas? Call or email and send me your list for approval...
